Ashland Berry Farm 2011

It's that time of year again! I LOVE October! It is filled with so many fun family activities, the best of which is the trip to Ashand Berry Farm for pumpkin picking, Hurtubise style! That means all afternoon, lots of family and friends, lots of chillin' and lots of food! We had a great group this year, and we had gorgeous weather, and had so much fun! Enjoy the pics!

Virginia Beach Weekend

The Moore's invited us down to Virginia Beach for Rachael's 7th birthday, along with another family, and we had a BLAST. The weather could not have been ordered up any better, especially for the second weekend in October, and the atmosphere was pure fun and relaxed! We all had a great time, especially the kids. The older girls were all on the beach for about 8 hours Sunday, without once coming in! Good times for sure! Enjoy!

Annual Apple Pickin' Outing

Nanne and Grampa came and picked us all up in the "Party Bus" and we drove up to Charlottesville Saturday night to camp out at a campground near the Apple Orchard. We had some yummy food and roasted marshmellows before hitting the sack in the camper. The next day we got up early and hit up Carter Mountain Apple Orchard. We have gone up every year for the past four years or so, and it is so beautiful and so much fun to pick pounds on pounds of apples! This was the first year both Nanne and Grampa came with us, so it was an extra special treat! We made lots of applesauce with all the apples we picked! The last several pics are Bryden having fun with the camera...you can tell by the lower angle :o)...a photographer in the making! Even Emmy is jumping on board and starting to snap some shots! Enjoy!
