Weekend Fun

We found out Saturday night that Busch Gardens opened this weekend, so we decided to surprise Bryden on Sunday and take her to the park for the day. She has been asking ALL winter to go to Busch or Water Country, so we didn't tell her where we were going, we just told her to get dressed, that we had a surprise for her. Her eyes lit up and she had a huge smile when we got off the exit and she saw the roller coasters and realized where we were! AND, ever since she rode a smaller roller coaster up in Maine, she has wanted to be big enough to go on a big coaster, and guess what???? She was!!! She got to ride The Big Bad Wolf at 3 1/2 years old! Incredible! She wasn't scared at all, she really had an awesome ride, but she did say it was a little bumpy for her (it was a bit of a rough ride), so we only rode it once. We are crazy proud of her for going on and being such a big girl! I am so excited to have a roller coaster buddy now! Daddy gets the low flying rides (heights and Jim don't go really agree...) and Mommy gets the coasters!!! Enjoy the pics!

I am napping for the first time in my own crib. Soon I will be sleeping in there at night too...well, if I ever decide to sleep more than three hours at a time!!! Hehehe...don't tell Mommy, I am not planning on that any time soon!

Fun Weekend

We had some great family time this weekend. Friday morning we went to Kangaroo Jac's, which is an indoor inflatable place, you know, with the big jump arounds and slides. Daddy played with Emmy while Bryden and Mommy got to play on the inflatables! SOOOOO much fun, having one of those in your backyard would make for a killer time!



Then we headed down to Nanne and Grampa's house for some rest and relaxation...and of course swimming. Well, the R&R was for Mommy and Daddy anyway, Bryden sure knows how to keep Nanne and Grampa on the move! That's ok though, they had their own R&R in Florida the past couple weeks!



And finally, Sunday night movie! This is the cutest pic ever, I caught Emmy in a smile, which she is doing more each day, but it is still involuntary,
I just happened to click at the right time!

So, as I am typing this, Bryden is supposed to be in bed. She hollers from the steps, "Mom, I don't feel good"..."What's wrong Bryden?"..."My belly hurts."..."Hmm, I bet if you get some water and lay down, it will feel better."..."Maybe it is because I had too much sugar today. Maybe if I have some real food I will feel better!"..."Like what kind of real food Bryden?"..."Ummm, I think Cheese Nips will help my belly feel better!" So funny! She is a master at trying to delay nap and bed times! This one was pretty good though!

Soccer Girl

Bryden is playing soccer through her school and it started yesterday. They have six practices at school over the next few weeks, then they have two weekend games against the other Montessori schools. It was pretty funny to watch the kids, a little chaotic, but they enjoyed themselves. Bryden had two chances to take a shot on goal during drills, and she made both goals! A little athlete in the making! Oh, and yes, she picked out her outfit. I guess soccer is the same as football...well, in her eyes it all makes sense, both are sports and the players wear jerseys, doesn't matter what kind! Enjoy the pics!

Gorgeous Weekend

We had a gorgeous couple days this weekend. I mean, that is the way to do a snow storm...a few days of cold and lovely snow to play in, then three days later, on the weekend for that matter, 80 degrees and the snow is all gone! Fabulous! We went to the park Saturday for a few hours (I actually got sun burned) and today Bryden got to play with her friends and her Daddy outside and enjoyed the nice day! I don't have pictures of us enjoying the day, but I do have a cute shot of Emerson having some belly time, and I guess she just got tired and needed a break! Enjoy!
