Bryden's New Room

Since we are having another little munchkin soon, we moved Bryden's room into our old office, so the baby room could stay a baby room. Bryden had no issues moving, especially since the walls are pink and she has horses on her bed. She was SOOOOO excited last night when she saw her room all made up with her new bedding. She kept saying "My horsey bed, My horsey bed". This morning, instead of the usual "Mommy, I want milk" holler when she wakes up, we got "Mommy, come lay in my horsey bed!" So funny! So, thanks Nanne and Grandpa for her early birthday present, she absolutely adores it.

Moving to VA

Well, we are all back in Mechanicsville, VA. We got back last night and unloaded the moving truck with the help of several neighbors (Thanks Guys!!!) and unpacked most of the stuff from the truck today, so the house looks presentable. Now it is just slowly unpacking ALL the boxes we put in the garage from the house that we packed up in case we were going to move. UGH! But, i am giving it a month to get it all done. No rush, just slowly picking at one box at a time.

It is REALLY nice to be back in our own home. I will try to take some pictures of Bryden's new room tomorrow and post them. I want to wait til I get her new bedding on tonight so you can all see the finished product...I am really pleased with how it turned out!

Pregnancy - Almost 9 Weeks

We had our follow up pregnancy ultrasound today, and little Pip did not make it :o(. That was pretty much expected, though we were hoping for a better outcome. BUT, Kiwi is looking fabulous and right on track with where I am in my pregnancy and where he/she is supposed to be. Her (I am leaning toward it being a girl since I feel the exact same as I did with Bryden, though it is still early...we are indifferent either way, just so excited to have another baby joining the family!) heartbeat was very strong and healthy, and we saw her little nuggets of legs sticking out. We could see her moving quite a bit, an active little bugger...it was like she was jumping on a trampoline or something in her little fluid filled sac!

Anyway, we wanted to send out an update. We appreciate all the thoughts and prayers sent our way, but we guess God just needed Pip for something else in this world! We cant wait to follow Kiwi's progress and keep everyone updated!

We will be 9 weeks tomorrow and we are due February 25, 2009!

Nanne and Grandpa watched Bryden for us the couple days that we have been getting house work done. We went down to pick her up and went to dinner and the Marina. There were TONS of ducks out and we got some awesome pictures! Enjoy the pics!

Pregnancy - 8 Weeks

8 Weeks Pregnant



Well, we are 8 weeks pregnant and all is going GREAT!!! We are all in VA right now preparing our house for the big move back to Richmond on Friday. We are all excited. We have repainted the entry, the living room and the stairwell. Over the next couple days, we will paint Bryden's NEW room (our old office) and the hallway. We also want to re-paint our master bedroom and bathroom, but that may have to wait until after the move. Jim did an awesome job cleaning up the yard, and he wants to paint our fence white...that is going to be a task and a half! It's all you Jim, since I did all the inside! Ha! So, we have lots going on. We hope Bryden likes her new room...it will be pink and with horses, so we are pretty sure we can't go wrong!!!

As far as the pregnancy, all is well. Still no morning sickness or anything (don't hate me!), but I definitely have a much bigger pouch than I had with Bryden! So, we are hoping that means that little Pip is catching up and both Kiwi and Pip are growing strong. We will find out on Thursday how the babies are doing!

Packing Up to Move

Well, we are low on recent pictures, actually, we don't have any...We are in the process of packing up our apartment in Nashville to move back to Richmond. Bryden is being a huge help by "labeling" all the boxes with red marker! We are going back to Richmond this Wed. to get some painting done around the house and moving some things back to the right place and such. We packed up our entire house, with the exception of Bryden's crib, the guest bed and the living room couches, so now we get to go and unpack EVERYTHING!!! Fun Fun! But, we are thinking that we will move Bryden into the room where the office is, and she will get a big girl bed, and then the babies can have her room, which is already set up as a baby room! We think everyone will be happy! We are going to paint Bryden's room a pale pink with some vertical brown stripes (for her birthday she is going to get new light pink bedding with horses on it...shhhhh) so we think that will look really pretty!

We will try to get some pictures soon, but for now moving is the priority. We will be 8 weeks pregnant on Friday, so time for another round of Pregnancy Pictures...hopefully we take a minute to get them and have our new internet connection to post!

Our official move date is July 25. We have to be back in Richmond by July 28, that is when our first OB appointment is!!!

Pregnancy

Well, we found out that we have two babies growing right now! One Twin, Twin A, is growing right on track and has a great heart beat. Twin B is lagging behind a little in the growth area, but still has a strong heartbeat. The Doctor said to come back in two weeks for another ultrasound, in which time two things may happen. One, Twin B will catch up in development and will progress normally, or Two, Twin B will not make it and be absorbed by my body. So, we could still use some prayers thrown our way and hope for a positive outcome in a few weeks.

It is funny though, Jim, Bryden and I have all been saying "babies" for the last two weeks. I guess we all kind of had a hunch that there were two in there. We also named them when we found out we were pregnant, Kiwi and Pip, and Jim and I have been referring to them as such. It is interesting, because Twin B is Pip, very fitting, since right now he/she is a little 'pipsqueak'.

Our due date is February 25, 2009, though usually people deliver 3-4 weeks early with twins!

Pregnancy

If you are checking in to see how many babies we have in the oven, you will have to wait another day! Our doctor was off today, so we are waiting until tomorrow so that we can see our doctor and tell him THANK YOU!!!! We've not seen him since the embryo transfer. Our appointment is at 1pm tomorrow, so I will post our results as soon as we get home!

As far as the pregnancy goes, we are almost 7 weeks and all is well. I am not having any morning sickness as of yet, which I hope continues (I didn't have any pregnancy symptoms with Bryden, maybe I will get that lucky again!). Bryden gives the babies (yes, we are all saying "babies") kisses everyday, tells them she loves them and gives hugs! She is so sweet and we can't wait to see her in action with them!

Sebago Lake, ME

We went up to Sebago Lake, ME for Avery's 3rd Birthday party! Avery is Jim's best friend Scott's daughter. She is only 2 months older than Bryden, so they have a lot of fun together. Scott and his wife Dawn also have a 5yr old son Hayden, and then other friends of ours, Scott and Bekah have a 2 1/2 year old daughter McKenzie, as well as a 3 month old Makayla. Other firends, Jeff and Lisa have a 1 year old daughter, Kylee...Needless to say, Bryden has lots of friends in Maine to play with! She had such a fun time at the party, as did all of us, enjoying the beautiful day on the lake with gorgeous weather. Thanks to Auntie Dawn's parents for hosting and opening up your beautiful house...we had a great couple days!

Little Ossipee Lake, ME

We have been so lucky with all this BEAUTIFUL weather up here in Maine, it has been so gorgeous! We went up to Little Ossipee Lake for a few days with the Ringuette family and had a blast playing in the water, on the swing set, and having a Hurtubise Family camping out night in a tent...Bryden loved that! Fun Town

We spent a day at Fun Town in Maine and it was so much fun. Bryden rode every ride at least two times...she even was big enough to ride a roller coaster called the Galaxi, and she LOVED it! She kept wanting to go again! Enjoy the pics!
