PCAV Ball

Jim and I went to the Prevent Child Abuse Virginia Charity Ball this past weekend! We had a great time, and although we were a little let down by the "Ball" side of it we had a great evening (we were envisioning something more like in the movie "Enchanted"...those of you with little girls know what I am talking about!!!). Jim rented a nice, sleek black town car, driver and all, for us to ride in, and we got to dress up for the evening, and best of all, we got to sleep in until whenever we wanted the next morning (which happened to be 10 am for me!!!), thanks to Nanne and Grampa taking the girls for the weekend! Thanks also to my sister for letting me borrow her beautiful red dress, I got tons of compliments on it!! All in all, it was a great night, and I hope we get to do it again sometime! Enjoy!

Super Bowl Sunday

This year Memere and Pepere were here for super bowl! Yay!!! We were happy that the game started earlier this year, so the kids could see some of it. Bryden was really cute and totally got into it everytime there was a play, "Daddy, is that your team you want to win?"...Daddy was cheering for Green Bay! Go Pack Go!

Emmy Turns Two

Happy Second Birthday Emerson!!! For Emmy's second birthday, we had an awesome family and friends gathering! Memere and Pepere came in from Maine and Nanne and Grampa, Chandra, Murat and Baby Kaya came up, as well as Uncle John, and our good friends the Reed's and the Moore's. We decided to have mexican food for dinner at our house, and Aunt Chandra and Uncle Murat, always the life of the party, brought some fun mexican mustaches for everyone! We had a really great time celebrating the welcoming of a new year for Emmy!!! Enjoy the pics!

Emerson's Little Gym Show

Emmy had a great Little Gym Show last week! Hers is a little more care free than Bryden's, it is more of the same thing they do each class, free roaming of the equipment with some teacher instruction mixed in. Emmy loves to hang on the bars and she is really good at doing a forward roll on the "cheese" mat (a big triangle that gives the little ones a little leverage), and she loves to play with the balls at the end of class! She was so proud when she received her medal, her big smile was so dang cute! The first two pics are of Emmy playing at Bryden's show, but they were too cute not to be included! Enjoy!

Bryden's Little Gym Show

Bryden had her Little Gym Show last week for her ballet / tap / gym class. She wasn't as into the dance and ballet part as much as she was last session, but she still rocked her show! She was so proud to perform infront of Memere, Pepere, Nanne, Grampa, Uncle John, and of course, Mommy, Daddy and Emmy! Bryden was so beautiful in her leotard and with her hair straightened and with her long and elegant dance moves! Enjoy the pics!
