Playing Catch-Up

I am sooooo behind (sorry Pat!) on pics, we had the stomach bug go through our family for a week (yes, ALL four of us had it) and my computer died...again...so, I haven't had a chance to really sit down and update the blog. I have a temporary computer now, so I am going to post a bunch of the past couple weeks.

Emmy has started to pull herself up on things and stands really strongly...and she is getting into EVERYTHING. We have to watch her like a hawk, she is so dang nosey, and so quick, and loves to get into what she isn't supposed to. Her favorite...cords (computer, monitor, breast pump, you name it). Little stinker! She is 10 months old now and chews on everything since she is teething. She got her four bottom teeth first, all like in two weeks, and now she is working on four top teeth...poor bugger, she is having a tough time of it right now.

And Bryden is in heaven, it is Christmas time! We started to decorate the inside of the house the other day when she came home from school early because she was "sick". She was so excited to pull all the decorations out and find a home for them all. This weekend we did the tree and the outside decorations and she loved every minute of it...and of course, the Christmas House has been lit. We have made our way down just about every day or night and she loves to ask questions about why Mr. Chuck painted the snowman's scarf red, or how did he get Santa and all his reindeer to attach from the roof of one house to the roof of the neighbors house, or this is the best...Mr. Chuck made ginger bread man cut outs, one for each of his grandkids and each one has their respective name on it. Apparently, Bryden told Mr. Chuck that she read the names on the ginger bread people, and why wasn't her name on one of them??? HAHA! So funny! We go down there enough, I guess she figures she deserves one!

Here are some pics of EMmy getting into all kinds of everything! She loves to snoop!

Trip down to the Christmas House

Happy Thanksgiving! We spent the day at Nanne and Grampa's.

Bryden spent hours playing with Grampa's train set and the carnival peices!

Setting up our Christmas decorations!

Naptime for someone???
