After a long few weeks in and out of the hospital and being on strict bed rest, for whatever reason, the placenta wasn't functioning properly and our little one wasn't getting enough fluid in her little world. After an ultrasound showed extremely low levels, we decided it would be best to bring her into the world immediately (35 1/2 weeks). Since she was still breech, a C section was really our only option. After several delays, we were scheduled Jan. 27 at 8am. All went well and Jim got to announce the sex of our baby we have waited so long to meet. He had to do a double take to make sure, but our second little daughter is such a blessing!
We were discharged from the hospital this morning and our first day home has been SO nice! The girls all took a great nap on the couch and we are settling in to life as a family of four.
We look forward to all the memories we will create together and the fun times we get to share in as a family!
Enjoy the pics!

Congrats on the new addition to the family. I'm just now getting around to checking the site (very busy trying to help put UT back together!) out and didn't realize the baby had arrived. Again, congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!
