Little Mommy

Bryden is such a little Mommy, in every way, but this is just too cute. I am nursing Emerson, but I still have to pump quite a bit since she doesn't eat much, so tonight, Bryden decided that she needed to pump as well...Enjoy!

Wanna Be Professional Photographer

So, I am totally a wanna be professional photographer...I mean, not really for other people, but just to take fabulous pics of my family! I tried to set up some portrait shots today...they are still a work in progress, but turned out OK for the most part. Both girls and Daddy were very patient and cooperative with me as I kept moving their positions and stripping Emmy naked and all kids of fun stuff! I hope to get some more shots in the near future, but in the meantime, here are some cute photos!

Visitors!!!

Our good friends Samantha and Jarratt came down from D.C. yesterday to see Bryden and meet Little Emerson! Bryden had a blast playing with them both, and they both enjoyed loving on Emmy and getting a taste of an energetic three year old! Here are some cute pics...Enjoy! Emerson's First Bath

Emerson's umbilical cord fell off yesterday, so she got her first real bath! Bryden did a great job helping Mommy...she was my videographer! I have to watch the video still to see if she got any of Emerson, or if she just got the tub, but I will post it if she caught anything! Enjoy the pics!

Her Eyes are Open!

Yay! Emerson is opening her eyes more and more each day! Today she was awake for about 2 hours (not straight, but in little bouts). We love watching her look around like she is in awe of the world around her!

The Early Days

So, people keep asking us if Bryden and Emerson look alike...Hmmm, we can't really tell. To us, our kids just look like themselves, but, I thought it would be fun to put up similar pics of the girls and let you all decide if they look alike, or if they look like Jim or I! Share your thoughts!

Sweet Love

Bryden has been so amazing with Emerson. She just radiates love in every way for her little sister. Every morning Bryden comes in to our bed and immediately asks "Where's my sister, I need to see my baby sister." She wants to hold her all the time, but also knows that she is not allowed to pick her up by herself. She loves cuddling with Emerson each chance she gets and talks to her so sweetly. She calls her "sweets", which is so cute. "Hi sweets!" or "What's wrong sweets?"...and the best line "Awww, she's so cute!" We love watching to two of them together and know we are so blessed to have them both, healthy and happy, in our lives! Enjoy the pics!

I laid Emerson down next to Bryden and they cuddled for a while with Emerson's back to Bryden's belly, but after a little while Bryden said "Mommy, I want to see her face"...too cute...so I rolled Emmy over so they could face each other and of course, Bryden had to give her soft little kisses on the forehead.
