Sprint Vacation to Florida

Bryden had Thursday and Friday off last week from school beacuse of teacher work days, so Nanne and Grampa took the girls and I to Florida for a mini vacation (poor Daddy had to work since we are going away for spring break this week...we missed him!). Emmy Walking

So, Emerson is figuring out this whole walking thing! She has been taking one or two steps between things for about two weeks now, but these past two days, she has taken walking by storm, well, not quite, but she is getting it down! She is so funny to watch because we can just see her brain working, and calculating every step. She doesn't seem necessarily cautious, but definitely calculating of her steps. I think by next weekend, she'll be going to town, and leaving all of us in the dust! Enjoy! (Oh, and P.S., I meant March 2010, not 2009!)

Bryden Singing

Here is a hilarious video of Bryden working on going to Hollywood! She LOVES to sing, and right now, she is totally into Taylor Swift's song "You Belong with Me" and we all love Lady Antebellum. In the second clip, she is jamming with Jim, and you can hear Bryden telling Jim that she is Lady Ante and he is Bellum...but shhhhh, don't tell her what the lyrics of the second Lady Antebellum song really mean, ahhhh, sweet oblivion! Then, at the very end, she realizes that she forgot to brush her teeth that morning! Enjoy!

The Girls Playing

This is a totally cute video of the girls playing together outside last night before dinner. Will this last??? I sure hope so, I really enjoyed watching them play together and entertain each other. I think Bryden is really excited that Emmy is finally at the age to play more with her, especially outside! Emmy has been taking her first real steps this week as well, although it is pretty tough for her on the uneven grass, but you get a few glimpses of her making her way around the playset! Enjoy!

Gorgeous Week Outside

Spring is here and we were out to play everyday! Bryden was home from school Wed-Fri this week with a really bad cold and a pretty good fever, but, lucky for us, the weather was gorgeous, so we hung out outside and had a couple low key days. I got the garden ready for planting some broccoli, green beans nad zucchini, then in a couple months we will plant tomatoes again since we had so much success last year! Enjoy!

Best Friends

Bryden's BFF, Rachael, spent the night this weekend and they had a blast. After playing dress up all day and playing outside in the beautiful weather, they made homemade pizza for dinner, then they watched "Elf" and Jim and the girls decided to have Buddy's breakfast the next morning! Yum! Enjoy!
