Friday the 13th!!!

So, did anything crazy happen to you on Friday the 13th? Anyone...anyone...Nothing crazy here. I am helping with a Summer Fitness Challenge here in Nashville for a bunch of Moms wanting to get in shape, so we had weigh-ins today. Bryden was a trooper, for three hours, she played with another little boy and girl and did a great job staying occupied so Mommy could work! Thanks Bryden, I love you!

Jim is in Lynchburg, VA with Johnny Napp this weekend for a concert at Cattle Annie's, and we are already missing him. But, he will be back in time for Father's Day on Sunday :o)

IVF

We went in for our embryo transfer this morning and all went well. We had 3 embryos put in, so now it is just a wait and see game for the next two weeks! We hope, we hope, we hope...not much else for the next couple weeks but to have Jim give me shots in the booty everyday that make my tush sore for at least two days...ugh! All part of the fun process of IVF! Stay tuned!

IVF

Looks like we are scheduled to have our embryo transfer tomorrow (Monday) morning. Our little guys don't really like the environment they are growing in, so they are going to transfer them a little earlier in hopes of placing them in a more natural environment. Check back tomorrow afternoon to see how many eggs we transferred...it might be three (YIKES!!!)...we are totally ok with twins, but triplets...YIKES...that will take some adjusting!!!

IVF

Well, we checked our messages and found out that we have seven fertilized eggs that are going through the process of dividing right now. We will know more tomorrow, but we are off to a very good start!

IVF

Well, we are back home after the retrieval this morning. The IVF Doc retrieved 30 eggs! Man, no wonder I had so much pressure in my abdomen, normally you produce 1-2 eggs per month, not 30 (good old fertility drugs!). All went well with Jim too, so now they will fertilize the eggs and mid-morning tomorrow we will know how many eggs were mature and accepted fertilizaiton! Can't wait!

I am doing great, no pain yet, just mellow from the anesthesia, but feeling good, espicially since I got big hugs from my little Cuddle Buddy Bryden!

IVF

Yea! We FINALLY got the go ahead for the next step of IVF. I have had to go in every day this week to get blood tests and ultrasounds to check my progress, so last night, I was where I needed to be. I got to take my trigger shot and tomorrow (Friday, June 6) we get to go in and do the sperm and egg retrieval. They take out all my 30+ eggs I've grown, Jim gives his sample, they grow them in culture over the weekend, then if all goes well, we will have two embryos implanted on Wed, June 11. We wont know until about June 25 if we are pregnant or not, so that will be a LOOOOOONG two weeks. But, we will keep the blog updated on our progress, so check back for more info!
